14.30-15.15: Report Launch: Community Impact Assessment - Queenborough & Rushenden Retrofit
The Q&R; retrofit project was facilitated by the Institute for Sustainability working with Swale Borough Council, the Homes and Communities Agency and Amicus Horizon Housing Association. The project has been designed as a best practice demonstrator for both the approach to managing retrofit works and how Building Performance Evaluation (BPE) is affected by the decisions taken. Be the first to find out the results of the impact assessment of approximately 60 homes within a wider 270 home community retrofit scheme, which is intended to deliver substantial carbon, energy and financial savings for communities in Queenborough and Rushenden, Kent.

15.15-15.45: Case study West Sussex County Council: The Energy Company Obligation in practice
Hear how West Sussex County Council plans to work with British Gas to retrofit private residential and social housing as part of an ECO Partnership Agreement. WSCC is currently procuring a longer term Delivery Partner for a Sussex-wide Energy Saving Partnership with a target of 250,000 homes over 25 years in West Sussex alone, the first phase of which will include 18,000 properties over three years, at a total cost of up to £75 million.
