Lancaster China Catalyst Programme

Could you innovate and grow your organisation with China through R&D?

Lancaster China Catalyst Programme
Driving UK Business Growth through International Innovation

Do you own or work for a high tech company that aspires to grow through R&D and innovation? The Lancaster China Catalyst Programme provides UK companies with a significant package of support worth over £70,000 to develop R&D partnerships with Chinese counterparts in Guangdong Province. Such projects can lead to the development of new products, services or processes for global markets, and inevitably help UK companies open up new or additional routes to the fastest growing market, China.

The Programme provides an exclusive bespoke platform to help your company navigate an unfamiliar environment, overcome procedural obstacles, gain access to the UK and Chinese networks, identify the best match from pre-qualified partners, and plan and deliver an international collaboration project in response to present/future demand and opportunities.

It enables business leaders to undertake three market visits to China in two years, enhance their innovation and internationalisation capability through residential executive forums, master classes and networking activities.

Participant companies will be able to benefit from a team of postgraduates from technology, management and design disciplines, and potentially unlock significant Chinese Government match funding through your collaboration with Chinese partners.

The Programme was launched in January 2014 and 15 companies that range in size from 4 to 440 employees have started the first cycle. View current R&D projects
