Sustainable Travel
The Eco-technology show would like to encourage all of our attendees to use walk or cycle if possible. If you are in Brighton and use public transport, we recommend the Big Lemon Buses - because they are run on biodiesel made from waste cooking oil they are the most sustainable local public transport option, or join one the Bike trains to the event or car share with goCarShare! More details on these options are listed below.
If you are coming from further afield by car or public transport, you may wish to compensate for the carbon emitted by your journey. Compensate now for your travel via our official charity Renewable World using their special carbon calculator click here.
Getting There:
By Train:
The nearest railway station is Falmer, which is situated right by the stadium. Falmer station is adjacent to the ground. It's three stops from Brighton central station on the line to Lewes and Seaford. Alternatively, you can avoid Brighton completely by getting a train to Lewes and changing there for Falmer. There are four trains an hour in either direction'.
By Bus:
Brighton & Hove Bus No 25 (Route and timetable on the Brighton & Hove Bus Company website, which shows bus stops) operates a regular service (every 12 minutes) up to the stadium from Central Brighton, as do Bus Numbers 28 & 29.

Bike Train is a volunteer run group cycling project. They organise group bike rides to local schools, universities and events. Participants cycle together at a gentle pace and in a two-abreast formation, usually taking up a lane of road width, creating an assertive, sociable, safety-in-numbers presence on busy roads. Their rides are accompanied by experienced marshalls, music and hi-visibility signage.

By Car:
Why don't you think about car sharing to this year's Eco Technology Show?
With the average 100 mile car journey leading to over 20 kg of CO2 being produced, goCarShare has the potential to reduce the festivals' carbon footprint considerably.
It's also a great way to save money and as it is built around Facebook you can see if people you know are going and check people out before agreeing to share. So if you're driving, or need a lift, click here and share the journey!
The stadium is located at Falmer on the outskirts of Brighton, very close to the University of Sussex.
At the end of the M23, continue onto the A23, heading towards Brighton. At the roundabout which is the junction with the A27, take the A27 towards Lewes. After around four miles you will see the stadium on your right hand side. Leave at the A27 and take the slip road sign posted Falmer (B2123). At the top of the slip road turn right crossing back over the A27 and the entrance to the stadium is down on the right.
There is plenty of parking at the stadium for cars, coaches and minibuses. Some Sat-Navs are not recognising the stadium post code of BN1 9BL. You can try instead BN1 9SD which takes you to nearby Falmer Railway Station instead.
